On July 27, at the Friday Night Live show, the Cloverdale Arts Alliance is pleased to present Copus, a band that performs a very unusual combination of spoken word, jazz and classical music. Creators of Copus are San Franciscans, poet Royal Kent and Wendy Loomis, pianist, composer and musical director. The band is universally praised for their creativeness and musicianship.

Compositions consist of powerful lyrics delivered in Royal’s silky-smooth vocal style, and the masterful musicianship of the performers.
