The Cloverdale Arts Alliance is pleased to present Gojogo, an unusual quartet that combines classical and jazz music with the rhythms of India at Friday Night Live’s concert on July 6. Gojogo performs original music composed collaboratively by the four performers, each drawing on a different musical tradition and training. The result is a sound that defies the borders of any specific genre.

Gojogo consists of Sarah Jo Zaharako on violin, Eric Perney on bass, Elias Reitz on percussion, dholki and electronic samples. Gabriel Robinson plays tabla. Gojogo has traveled extensively throughout the west and midwest, produced two recordings and a film score project featuring vintage Russian animation.
