Lost Dog Found has been the driving force of the current swing revival around the San Francisco bay area since 2010, with high energy original tunes that takes elements of swing, jump blues, New Orleans soul, and rockabilly, and combines them for an ultra modern take on a classic sound. Known for their crowd interactive live performances, the band has modernized the sound of swing beyond the niche market that the genre currently finds itself. Inspired both by his love for the music of the 30's-50's, and by the swing revival bands of the 90's, band leader Stevie Mac focuses on creating a modern take that both swing dancers and the average set of ears would become fans of. Lost Dog Found's set is blistering with all original tunes and some familiar songs, featuring saucy lyrics, hot backbeats, swinging horn lines, thumping bass, and fiery guitar licks.
Festivities begin at 5:30 pm with the Farmers Market, which also offers a variety of food booths. Local restaurants are open for early bird and late night specials.
