"THE Jazz Club"
Come celebrate Mardi Gras with the Susan Comstock Swingtet at THE Jazz Club on Thursday, February 9th. On this jazz club night, the Susan Comstock Swingtet will will perform New Orleans Jazz and explore classic vocal jazz, blues, swing and Latin music in a fresh innovative way. The Swingtet's impressive repertoire includes tunes from the late 20's and into the 50's. Whether finessing a ballad, belting out the blues, or caressing the sultry lyrics of songs in multiple languages, Susan is a solid sender who always connects deeply with her audience. Susan's vibrant jazz fiddle compliments her strong, expressive voice. Collaborating with Susan is John Knutson on guitar and Bill Fouty on bass.
THE Jazz Club, also known as the Cloverdale Center for the Arts at 105 E. First St., Cloverdale, CA, is the place to enjoy live jazz sounds every 2nd Thursday of each month. Seating in this big-city, small jazz club setting is limited to the first 44 club-goers. Come early. Doors open at 7:30 PM, music from 8 PM to 10 PM. Club refreshments served. Suggested donation for the evening is only $7.00 per person for members of the Cloverdale Arts Alliance and $10.00 per person for non-members.
