The Blues Session

Starting in August, the Cloverdale Arts Alliance and music workshop are proud to bring a new live music series to Cloverdale:  The Blues Session!  Featuring an all-star lineup of local musicians, The Blues Session will bring the best in local live performance to Cloverdale on the second Saturday monthly, delivering 2 solid hours of popular and classic songs from a wide spectrum of blues influenced American music, including R&B, jazz, rock ‘n’ roll, swing, and more.

The Blues Session will feature a cooking house band with David Garland on drums, Ubidube Whitaker on bass, Tom McBride on guitar, and Oscar Calderon on percussion.  In addition, each show will feature other top local musicians bringing their best performance.  Whether you are a musician, fan, like to dance, or just appreciate good music, The Blues Session will bring a fun lively music experience for all!

Attention Musicians: sign-ups will be posted at Cloverdalemusicworkshop.com, along with an optional song list of popular and classic tunes to pick from.  Please sign up in advance of the next performance or contact facilitators: David Garland or Tom McBride.

The Cloverdale Arts Alliance is located at 204 N. Cloverdale Blvd. Tickets are $5 for Cloverdale Arts Alliance members and also non-members. Doors open at 7:00 pm; music from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. The Blues Session takes place the second Saturday of each month starting August 8.

Advance tickets are available online at www.cloverdaleartsalliance or at the Cloverdale Arts Alliance during normal business hours. Tickets are available at the door. 

The Blues Session is a program of the Cloverdale Arts Alliance, a non-profit arts organization bringing cultural arts to northern Sonoma County. Other CAA programs include Friday Night Live at the Plaza, Art Gallery, THE Jazz Club, Americana Night, Sculpture Trail, Music Workshops, Discovering Art Series, Art Classes, Dance Classes, Wine Appreciation Workshops, and Special Events.
