Artists use shape and mass to create visual and emotional effects. Shading and vacant space are also used to enhance artwork.

Composition is the combination of color, line and shape that gives a sense of balance. The balance can be symmetrical or asymmetrical.

The primary objective and purpose of the Cloverdale Arts Alliance is to enrich the community of Cloverdale by fostering and producing opportunities for the community to experience artistic abilities and diversity, and to facilitate self-expression. We invite your support through participation, membership, sponsorship, and volunteer work to sustain our objective and purpose.

Our major programs include Friday Night Live, a summer-long free concert series know throughout Northern California, and the internationally known Cloverdale Annual Sculpture Exhibit.
