GALLERY DIRECTOR

We are delighted to welcome Will McCoy as the new Art Gallery Director at the Cloverdale Arts Alliance.

Will is already a familiar face—he’s been a Resident Artist and an active member of the gallery leadership team. With gratitude for the work of Jason Taylor-Morgan, Laura Paine Carr, and the Resident Artists, he looks forward to building on their contributions and leading the gallery into its next chapter.

Will brings both artistic and leadership experience to the role. With a B.A. in Art Studio, his creative work spans painting, sculpture, and murals, with exhibits at the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, the Mendocino Music Festival, and private collections across the Western U.S. A move to Cloverdale with his wife Cori re-ignited his daily studio practice.

Alongside his artistic career, Will has spent more than 20 years in education—as teacher, principal, and superintendent—earning recognition from the State of California and the White House. He has also authored five books on leadership, business, and education, and founded two EdTech companies.

Will’s vision for the gallery includes expanding marketing and public visibility, strengthening ties with local businesses, and welcoming new artistic voices through the Guest Artist, Annex Artist, and Associate Artist programs.

He and Cori are active members of the community, often seen at local events, the Farmer’s Market, and Friday Night Live.
